Cranberry Sauce

Fresh Juicy Cranberries for Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce is a must at this time of year. Not only as a condiment for your Christmas Dinner but it can also be used in canapes – such as my Brie and Cranberry Parcels, or on a cheese board.  This is a quick and easy recipe to make your own Cranberry Sauce, impress your family and friends with it!

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients (Makes 1 large Jar)

250g Fresh Cranberries (Frozen are fine too)
100ml Orange Juice
100g Brown Sugar


  • Sterilise a Jam Jar in preparation of the sauce to be made
  • Rinse the cranberries in water and put in a saucepan
  • Add in the Orange Juice and the Sugar
  • Bring the pan to the boil and then simmer for around 10mins or until the cranberries have all popped and softened
  • Pour the sauce into the prepared jar, seal the lid tightly and leave to cool before storing
  • This sauce can be kept in the fridge for about 2 weeks
