Today myself and seven other cake ladies ventured out of Edinburgh for the first Edinburgh Cake Ladies Road Trip to Cammerlaws Farm for fellow cake lady Pam and her mum’s first ‘pop up’ Afternoon Tea.
We left Edinburgh behind with the perfect road trip mix tape of 80’s and 90’s tunes (with a spot of country for the way back!), and headed off down to the borders.
On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, a glass of prosecco, and some tasty nibbles to start.
Followed by the main event, delicious sandwiches and yummy cakes!
There was so much cake, so to create space for the finale we went on a wander round the farm, meeting some posing horses, a nosey dog and cute little calves not even 24 hours old!
After a small break it was back to it, and there were 3 gorgeous cakes left to eat
And we made a good attempt at these! We left totally full, on a sugar high and with a little goody bag.
We had a lovely afternoon and would definitely recommend a trip down to Cammerlaws Farm for cake!
