Nutella Ice Cream

Nutella Ice Cream

Over Christmas I bought far too much cream, and I didn’t want to just pour all that creamy goodness down the drain, so had the inspired idea to make some easy ice cream.  I can’t deny my love for Nutella so with plenty of that to hand I set about making this easy (though not so quick) Nutella Ice Cream.  This recipe does not contain eggs and I don’t own an ice cream maker!

Nutella Ice Cream (Makes about 750ml)

600ml Double Cream
300g Nutella (or as much as you want to add in)
50g Sugar

  • Pour the Cream, Sugar and Nutella into a blender and whizz together for a few minutes until its all blended together
  • The mixture should be light and creamy.  Pour the mixture into a freezer proof tub
  • Put the tub into the freezer and leave the ice cream to freeze for about 45 mins
  • Next take the tub out of the freezer and stir the ice cream, put back in the freezer for another 45 mins and repeat
  • The ice cream should now be almost frozen and can be left until needed
