This afternoon, after a walk through a sunny but chilly town we popped into Cafe Andaluz on George Street for some tapas and rioja. Its now winter time and winter time is red wine time! This is one of our favourite places on George Street, it has a great atmosphere and the food is always delicious! My Mum, who is the worlds fussiest eater loves it here too – so it must be good!
Choosing what to eat is always a problem, especially this time as we didn’t want to eat too much. We settled on two dishes each, washed down with a large glass of the house rioja. I went for the Solomillo Con Setas and Pollo Rebozado con Miel, while my husband opted for the slightly more exotic Carrillada de Cerdo (Pigs Cheeks) and Carne de Res Picante, with fresh crusty bread to dip into all the lovely sauce!
Perfecto! I could think of worse ways to spend the afternoon!
